However, have you noticed that search is rapidly moving from browsers to generative AIs, many of them smaller but nimble and readily able to compete with Google? And AI seems to lower the cost of innovation. And, so far at least, innovative environments have been competitive environments.
Yeah. That’s the one hedge against Google… but, it’s just as likely they’ll also come out on top in the AI search market too. 90% of traditional search is still going to translate to a high % of the AI search market. A bit like Meta they can afford to buy startups/hire the talent.
